ONLINE GIVING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions shall govern your use of the online giving system on https://www.hillcitypvd.com. By donating online, you express your understanding and agreement that you are bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this document.
Hill City Church accepts online donations through payments via a secured gateway from individuals or organizations for our general fund.
SECURITY POLICY.
Hill City Church’s online donation system uses an advanced encryption technology provided by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a recognized authentication and encryption software, which means that the site encrypts all of your personal information and card details so that it is unreadable to anyone outside of the transaction process.
DONATION / GIVING / Delivery.
Donations to the general fund of Hill City Church may be made via https://www.hillcitypvd.com (“website”), using our secure payment gateway. Registration with the website is a prerequisite to donation, and donors will be required to provide all the necessary information to process the transaction.
Donors have the following donation options when paying via their credit card:
Recurring Donation. Donors may specify a donation amount and duration, during which their credit cards shall be automatically charged for that specified amount. The first donation, even if future-dated, will be processed on same date of entry.
One-time Donation. Donors may specify an amount, which will be charged to their credit cards accordingly.
Delivery. All items for purchase will be expressly marked. Donations are to be separate from all purchases. Donors cannot receive items for purchase in exchange for donations. All items for purchase will be sold at the discretion of Hill City Church.
After the donation process is completed, a confirmation of the transaction will be emailed to the donor’s email address, as registered in the website’s online donation system, to serve as proof of delivery.
TAX DEDUCTIONS.
All donations to Hill City Church general fund qualify as tax deductible Charitable Contributions. Hill City Church will send you a giving statement at the end of the year for your tax purposes.
TRANSACTION CURRENCY.
All amounts on the website are defaulted to US Dollar ($).
REFUND AND CANCELLATION.
Once a donation is completed, the transaction is deemed final and indisputable, except under the following circumstances:
Unauthorized or fraudulent use of a donor's credit card is proven, per guidelines of his or her credit card company. In case of lost or stolen credit card, donors must notify their credit card company and comply with its reporting procedure.
The Local Church's websites and/or online donation system inadvertently does/causes something that will necessitate a refund.
In such an event, you must notify our Hill City Church via email ( info@hillcitypvd.com) and request a refund within ten (10) working days from the date on which you made the donation. Hill City Church shall process your request for refund with the credit card company or bank within fifteen (15) working days.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
Hill City Church reserves the right to modify or replace any of these terms and conditions at any time, and any change shall be effective once posted on the Websites.
INDEMNITY.
Under no circumstance shall Hill City Church be liable for any claims, costs or damages, whether direct or consequential, arising as a result of your use of the online donation system or your inability to do so, your reliance on any content and/or services associated with the Hill City Church website, or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Hill City Church is not responsible for typographic errors. We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions of the Online Donation/Giving System at any time without prior notice.
